The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan expresses deep concern over the rapid escalation of tensions in the Middle East, which has contributed to growing instability across the wider region.

On 17–19 February, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay a visit to the United States and take part in the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council, a new international body established as a multilateral platform to promote dialogue and the peaceful resolution of pressing global and regional conflicts.

In late January of this year President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will undertake an official visit to Türkiye. 

Over the past eight years, relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye have undergone a profound qualitative transformation, evolving from traditionally friendly ties into a full-fledged strategic partnership with a strong economic, investment, and industrial dimension.

The year 2025 marked a stage of qualitative renewal and consolidation of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy positions. 

In recent years, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have been shaping a new model of economic interaction.
