In connection with the onset of one of the most ancient spring holidays in the history of mankind - Navruz, symbolizing the revival of nature, the beginning of a new life and renewal, reflecting such qualities inherent in our multinational people as kindness, mercy, attention and care for others, creation, careful attitude to our native land and the environment, sincere congratulations arrive to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the heads of foreign states and governments, heads of international organizations, prominent public figures. 

On March 21, Navruz was celebrated in Tashkent's “Yangi Uzbekiston” Park. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech and congratulated our people on the holiday.

In the framework of a telephone conversation held on March 20, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev warmly congratulated each other and the brotherly people of the two countries on a spring holiday Navruz, sincerely wishing peace, wellbeing and prosperity.

Navruz is greeted with special enthusiasm throughout the country. On March 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Rohat mahalla in Bektemir district, where he took part in festive events.

In the framework of the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy large-scale greening continues across the country. In the capital’s Bektemir district another green zone has been established.

During the visit to the capital’s Bektemir district President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Iykota mahalla, where he got acquainted with the current creative and improvement work.

On March 20 President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the creative and improvement work carried out in the city of Tashkent. 

On March 19 President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received advisor on the issues of economic development, effective governance and international cooperation Suma Chakrabarti. 

On March 19, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Current issues of bilateral agenda and regional interaction were reviewed.
