President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev completed his working visit to the city of Ashgabat and departed to Tashkent.

Concluding the events of the International Forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of a poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi, a ceremony of awarding the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held.

Uzbekistan is undergoing a significant modernization of its healthcare system to ensure comprehensive access to quality medical services for the population.

Uzbekistan is actively modernizing its financial, banking and tax sectors. Currently, special attention is paid to improving the efficiency of budget revenues and expenditures management, which is a key task within the framework of the current reforms of the budget and tax policy. 

Uzbekistan has created a solid legal framework to ensure freedom of speech and information, as well as the development of the media, improvement of the legal basis for the activities and protection of the professional rights of journalists. 

On the sidelines of the International Forum in Ashgabat, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.

In the framework of the visit’s program, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On October 11 President of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the International Forum "Interrelation of Times and Civilizations – Basis of Peace and Development" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi’s birthday.
