On August 7-9, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan, and will also take part in the sixth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of our region and the summit in the “Central Asia + Japan” format, which will be held in Astana.

Under the auspices of UNESCO, the “Sharq Taronalari” XIII International Music Festival will be held from August 26 to 30 in the ancient and unique city of Samarkand, known as “The Pearl of the Earth.”

The "Uzbekistan 2030" strategy aims to increase the country's gross domestic product to $160 billion and per capita income to $4,000. 

Despite its limited access to the world's major ports, Uzbekistan can fully develop its transportation and logistics industry through the formation of land transport corridors, developing them throughout the Eurasian region. 

Currently, more than 80 international human rights and freedom documents ratified by Uzbekistan are incorporated into national legislation.
