Uzbek President traditionally started his trip to Bukhara Region with a visit to the Bahouddin Naqshband Mausoleum.

On August 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Bukhara region.

The geostrategic position of Uzbekistan determines its role in the development of the logistics potential of the region, together with the countries of Central Asia and Afghanistan. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was informed about the upcoming major sporting events and plans for the development of sports sector.

Issues of further development of Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance were discussed during a telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on August 9.
