On January 26, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, left for this country on a state visit.

The agenda of the top-level talks includes the issues of further strengthening relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership, as well as building up mutual trade, supporting industrial cooperation and promoting regional infrastructure projects.

It is envisaged to adopt a solid package of bilateral documents.
