The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Egypt on February 20-21, at the invitation of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The agenda of top-level talks includes a wide range of issues on further strengthening of Uzbek-Egyptian relations.

A particular attention will be paid to the prospects of cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural, humanitarian and educational spheres. An exchange of views on the international and regional agenda will take place.

Following the summit, it is planned to sign a Joint Declaration and a number of bilateral documents.

As part of his visit, the President of Uzbekistan will meet with heads of Egypt’s leading companies and representatives of business circles.
