On August 19-20, 2023, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Budapest at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.

According to the visit program, the President of Uzbekistan will hold talks with the Hungarian Prime Minister, during which issues of promoting programs and projects of practical cooperation between the two countries will be considered.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also be a guest of honor at events dedicated to Hungary’s national holiday, St. Stephen’s Day, and will attend the men’s final of the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
