On August 22, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Azerbaijan on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to the programme of the visit, Baku will host high-level talks in both narrow and extended formats.

A joint visit to the cities of Fizuli and Shusha is envisaged, as well as other events involving the leaders of the two countries.
