The National People’s Congress in Beijing hosted the official welcome of the heads of delegations participating in the “One Belt, One Road” third international forum.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse were solemnly welcomed by the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and his spouse.

The ceremony was also attended by the UN Secretary-General António Guterres, the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Acting Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as Heads of states and governments of other countries. A joint photo ceremony took place.

A theatrical concert program was performed for the distinguished guests.

The main events of the forum will take place tomorrow, on October 18.
