The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Stephane Layani, the Chairman of the "Semmaris" company, as part of the ongoing Uzbek-French Business Forum in Samarkand.

The company owns the world's largest food and logistics centre with an annual turnover of €9 billion. It has extensive experience in building and managing efficient food wholesale markets around the world.

The Head of State supported the company's plans to build agro-logistics complexes in Samarkand, Andijan and the Tashkent region.
