At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for Astana on a working visit to attend the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

The agenda of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State includes issues of further development of multilateral cooperation within the organization, primarily in trade, economic, investment, transport and communications, environmental, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

This year, the OTS is chaired by the Republic of Uzbekistan.
