During his visit to Samarkand, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, paid his respects at the Hazrat Khizr complex, where he laid flowers at the grave of the First President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov.

Verses from the Quran were recited, and prayers (du'a) were offered.
