Uzbekistan and Türkiye setting up a joint working group with experts to develop specific proposals on expanding mutual trade and developing e-commerce
TASHKENT, October 1. /Dunyo IA/. Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Akram Aliyev met with Deputy Minister of Trade of Türkiye Mustafa Tuzu, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade (MIIT), during the talks, the current state and perspective directions of development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye were considered.
In order to bring mutual trade up to 5 billion dollars, the sides considered possibilities of expanding the list of goods, lifting restrictions on products within the framework of the agreement "On Preferential Trade" signed between the two countries, simplification of trade procedures and development of industrial cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to set up a joint working group with experts from the two countries to develop specific proposals on expanding mutual trade and developing e-commerce between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
