On April 3 in the framework of the first “Central Asia – European Union” summit, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen held a talk.

An exchange of opinions on the prospects of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU took place.

Issues were reviewed regarding holding an interregional summit and the climate forum scheduled for April 4.
