Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Türkiye have agreed that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs will stand at the forefront in implementing a solid package of agreements between the two nations
TASHKENT, September 12. /Dunyo IA/. Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, who arrived in our country on a visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Had a productive and candid meeting with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister H.E. Hakan Fidan today in Tashkent, – the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – Underscored that both Uzbekistan and Türkiye have been implementing fundamental reforms to create the best conditions for their people. Our comprehensive strategic partnership shows a strong upward trend in all areas without exception. We discussed practical aspects of further enriching bilateral relations. Economic cooperation, trade turnover increase, people-to-people ties, academic exchanges, international engagements, and many more topics were on our agenda. Ministries of Foreign Affairs stand at the forefront in implementing a solid package of agreements between our nations".
It is worth noting that the Turkish delegation, consisting of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya and Director of the National Intelligence Service Ibrahim Kalin, arrived in Tashkent as part of the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Türkiye on June 6-7.
