Turkiye appoints its new Ambassador to Uzbekistan
TASHKENT, February 27. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov today met with the new Ambassador of Turkiye Ufuk Ulutas, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Turkiye to Uzbekistan, H.E. Ufuk Ulutas, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – Uzbekistan-Turkiye continue to actively collaborate not only on a bilateral level but also in expanding regional cooperation. We are certain that our joint efforts will contribute to the prosperity and development of both countries. Sincerely congratulate Mr. Ambassador on his appointment and wish him every success in his diplomatic mission".
It is worth noting that Ufuk Ulutas succeeded Olgan Bekar, who headed the Embassy of Turkiye in Tashkent from 2021 to 2025.
